#Vimy100 commemorations of the centennial anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge [fr]
Ambassador Nicolas Chapuis was in France April 9th to take part in commemorations of the centennial anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.
He attended the following notable events:
The First Nations ceremony at the Canadian Vimy Memorial Park
The inauguration of the exhibition “Vimy 1917, the underground war of Canadians” at the Centre d’histoire Guerre et Paix
The consecration ceremony of the Hill 70 Memorial in Loos-en-Gohelle
The official opening of the new Visitor Education Centre at the National Vimy Memorial
The Poppy Ceremony at Place des Héros in Arras
The commemorative ceremony at the National Vimy Memorial (Sunday, April 9th, 2017)
