The Mérite agricole is a decoration instituted in France on July 7th 1883 by the Minister of Agriculture, Jules Méline, to reward the services made
in the field of agriculture, or in annexe fields. The Order comprises the ranks of chevalier (approximately 23 000 people currently), officer (5 000)
