The CNRS is recruiting PhD students

The French National Center for Scientific Research or CNRS is launching its PhD recruiting campaign. This complementary research formation must conduct to a PhD degree.

The duration of the contracts are 3 years long. The selected applicants will carry out their research in a research or formation laboratory of the CNRS or in an affiliated laboratory. The selected applicant will be paid 1757 euros raw per month (around 2410 $ a month) and must be inscribed to a doctoral school each tear.

Candidates from all nationalities can apply

Applicants must :
- Have a Master degree or in the way to obtained it
- Not having begun a PhD
- Be possibly in contact with a partner (company, region, another organism, ...) ready to fund jointly the recruitment. In this case, the research subjects are chosen after agreement with the CNRS and the partner.

How to Apply?

First, the applicant must contact the concerned laboratory
After having taken contact with the responsible, the applicant must send him the application form fully completed with the required documents:
- A resume
- A copy of an ID
- A copy of the Master degree if obtained

The applicant must also ask for information if they need to send the application form the doctoral school affiliated to the concerned laboratory

The application form fully completed must be send to the laboratory before APRIL 30, 2010
