State visit by the President of the Republic of France to Canada #CanadaPR
The President of the Republic of France, François Hollande, carried out a State visit to Canada from November 2nd to 4th, 2014.
Over the course of this period, the President will visit Banff, Ottawa, Quebec City, and Montreal.
This visit is a response to invitations from the Governor General of Canada, the Right Honourable David Johnston; the Prime Minister of Canada, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper; and the Premier of Quebec, the Honourable Philippe Couillard.
This will be the first State visit by a President of the Republic since President François Mitterrand’s visit in 1987.
