Signature of an agreement between France and Canada

Last June 25th, the Association des anciens élèves de l’École nationale d’administration (ENA), whose headquarters are located in Paris, and the Association canadienne des anciens élèves de l’ENA signed a cooperation protocol.

Mr. Arnaud TEYSSIER, President of the Association des anciens élèves de l’ENA, and Mr. Adam Knelman OSTRY, President of the Association canadienne des anciens élèves de l’ENA, sign the cooperation protocol.

The two associations recognized each other’s achievement in establishing contacts between both Canadian and French former students.

The cooperation protocol provides that:

  • The associations commit to maintaining their strong links and to pursuing a durable cooperation;
  • They will try to develop links with former students by contributing to organising conferences or meetings on themes of professional interest;
  • They favour, in particular, contacts between high ranking officials from Canada and France, and on a global perspective, a better understanding of Canadian, French and European institutions;
  • They will also provide active assistance, within their specialties, to the French-Canadian cooperation and friendship.
Mr. TEYSSIER, Mr.OSTRY and the Ambassador of France to Canada, Mr. Daniel JOUANNEAU.
