Signature of Cooperation agreements Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Ifremer
Ifremer’s cooperation with Canada occurs mainly through its agreement with the Federal Department Fisheries and Oceans Canada since 1990.
The Joint Committee Ifremer- Fisheries and Oceans Canada has decided in 2015 to update the legal framework of cooperation with particular reference to new projects and opportunities for collaboration between teams from both sides of the Atlantic.

From this new framework for cooperation, an agreement of International Research Group (GDRI) in the field of fisheries and aquaculture (GDRI RECHAGLO) "Responses to the global population change and fisheries and aquaculture communities and their habitats, 2015-2019 "and an agreement on operational oceanography linking the specific needs of the Canadian Ministry to the products and services generated by Mercator Ocean have been signed in Ottawa on December 15, 2015.
