JPEG From 17 January to 17 February 2014 film lovers across Canada will have access to the films proposed by the 4th edition of the on-line French cinema festival on the following platforms:

- On the web: across Canada - films in French, in French with English subtitles and in 13 other languages
- On Itunes across Canada films in French, in French with English subtitles and in 13 other languages (only features)
- On illico (for Vidéotron customers) - films in French

The principle

For a whole month, cinema lovers from the world over will be able to access online 10 feature films and 10 short films in 13 languages. This shortlist of first and second feature films released in France during the year is an opportunity for new directors to raise their profile internationally and also highlights the diversity of young French producers.

4 prizes will be awarded at the end of the festival

The Jury Prize, headed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, with filmmakers from various countries.

  • Lynne Ramsay (United Kingdom), Marco Bellocchio (Italy), Frédéric Fonteyne (Belgium) and Anurag Kashyap (India).
  • The International Press Prize, with a jury of 11 foreign journalists.
  • The Public Prize, as per online votes by all viewers.
  • The Social Networks Prize, selected by 100 cinema lovers who are influential on Facebook and Twitter.
  • All premiered films will be available onboard Airfrance flights for a period of 6 months.

In partnership with Téléfilm Canada, propose to internet users two films from Québec, one short, one feature, out of competition. Only one is available for Canadians internet users because of rights issues.
