The French archeologist, Jean-Yves Empereur will be giving a conference on Wednesday, October 18th at 6:30 p.m. at the Museum of Civilisation theatre in Gatineau.

Organised by the Canadian Institute for Mediterranean Studies, in partnership with the Embassy of France and the Alliance française, Mr. Empereur’s conference will discuss the latest archaeological discoveries in Alexandria, Egypt.

Jean-Yves Empereur, director of Research at the CNRS, is the founder of the Centre d’Études Alexandrines, the goal of which is to study the history of the city of Alexandria.
