FRACAS Symposium in Ottawa [fr]

The FRACAS Symposium (FRAnce-Carleton Aerospace Symposium), took place at Carleton University in Ottawa on February 13th and 14th, 2014, with participation from ten French researchers ( ISAE Toulouse, INSA Toulouse, LAAS de Toulouse, LAboratoire PLAsma et Conversion d’Energie, Toulouse , laboratoire de l’Intégration du Matériau au Système (IMS) Bordeaux, pôle de compétitivité mondial Aerospace Valley, CNAM Paris, Ecole des Mines d’Albi) and researchers from Carleton University (mechanical and aerospace engineering, computers and system engineering, electronics).

In addition to expert-level sessions, the Symposium was also an occasion for discussions between researchers and French and Canadian innovation and aeronautics industry representatives.

Over the course of the event, participants explored serious options for collaborative projects between aeronautics engineering partners in the two countries.
