International Experience Canada (IEC) is a youth mobility program that helps Canadian and foreign youth gain international work and travel experiences, through the facilitation of work visas. The value of international work and travel experiences are limitless!

In addition to providing youth with exposure to different cultures, peoples and work environments, international experiences also provide much value to youth’s personal and professional growth throughout their lives.

To help convey this message to Canadian youth and increase overall promotion of the IEC in Canada, the IEC team is seeking to fill IEC Youth Ambassador positions. As an IEC Youth Ambassador, you will be responsible for promoting the IEC program to youth, parents and other audiences, thereby providing a source of encouragement and motivation to get youth thinking about going abroad!

Youth Ambassadors will be based in his/her city of residence, and will report to IEC Headquarters primarily through a telework arrangement. Given your experience in France, you’ll also have the support of the Embassy of France in Canada’s diplomatic network including, exclusive access to our activities

You must also meet the following criteria:

- Be a Canadian citizen and must have been to France through the Youth Mobility Exchange Agreement under one of the following categories:

  • Young professionals (visa 3A)
  • Internship (visa 3C)
  • Working Holiday Visa (visa 3D)

- Be particularly interested in promoting your experience, through this Agreement between France and Canada, to young Canadians (main target is between 18 and 35 )

- Must live in the Toronto region or Vancouver region

A pre-selection will be carried out by the Embassy of France in Canada. If selected your application will then be reviewed by IEC and you will be contacted for an interview.
